What Is a Continent?


  • Continents are the several large landmasses on Earth.
  • They were once a big piece which was called Pangea, that divided into several other pieces and are usually made of tectonic plates that have locked together.
  • The word's continents are (according to their size) :Asia, Africa, North America, South America, Antarctica, Europe, and Australia.
  • These continents are made up of countries, and are surrounded by oceans.
